Research

BrainPeople frequently ask us, “What does New Hope For The Brain do?” We focus on activities in three primary areas:

  1. Clinical Practice
  2. Education
  3. Research

There is a myriad of tall claims being made in today’s market place — many of them unsubstantiated. Savvy customers are increasingly looking for evidence to back up claims being made. Because New Hope For The Brain uses cutting edge brain wave technology, we are frequently asked to document claims where changes in brain function are promised. These promises are made by businesses who advertise products, services, and technology to improve such things as memory, clarity, concentration, energy and focus of attention. Our brain wave recordings can document these promises by providing evidence of improved brain wave function.

Products like 5 Hour Energy Drink, programs like Higher Brain Living, and technology such as Pulse Electromagnetic Frequency equipment have all utilized our services to document their claims of improved brain function.

If you have a product, service or a technology that advertises improved brain function, let us provide you with the evidence-based documentation that could make your business stand head and shoulders above your competitors in the market place.

THE NFL RESEARCH PROJECT

Recent public information has revealed that many retired football players suffer from a condition called CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy). This condition is due to cumulative brain injuries from multiple concussions and causes memory loss, problems with planning and organizing, hypersensitivity, irritability and aggression, confusion, and headaches.

Former NFL players who have been diagnosed with this condition have suffered devastating symptoms leading to their suicide. A stunning number of NFL players have committed suicide and left notes requesting their brains be examined for concussion-related changes. Documented damage to their brains from multiple concussion is no longer deniable by the NFL.

The NFL has finally admitted the effects of repeated concussions on players. New Hope For The Brain was asked to participate in this ground-breaking research and worked with 28 retired NFL players who were showing signs of early dementia.
